The 2021 Lincoln Corsair and 2021 Lincoln Aviator have both received a Top Safety Pick Rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).
In order to receive a Top Safety Pick rating, vehicles must receive ‘GOOD’ ratings in the driver-side small overlap front, passenger-side small overlap front, moderate overlap front, side, roof strength and head restraint tests. Also vehicles have to get an ‘ADVANCED’ or ‘SUPERIOR’ rating for available front crash prevention and vehicle-to-vehicle/vehicle-to-pedestrian evaluations.
All models come standard with Co-Pilot360, a system of driver-assistance technologies that includes forward-collision warning with automated emergency braking and pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assistance, automatic high-beams, and a rearview camera.
The optional Co-Pilot360 Plus adds adaptive cruise control, traffic-sign recognition, and a self-parking system that will steer the vehicle into both parallel and perpendicular spots.
The 2021 Lincoln Corsair was rated a Top Safety Pick within the Small SUV category when equipped with specific headlights.
New for 2021, the Corsair gains a Grand Touring Plug-In Hybrid model and two new appearance packages. The Monochromatic Package adds 20-inch black wheels and body-color exterior trim while the Sport Appearance Package adds 20-inch polished wheels, a black mesh grille, and body-colored front and rear bumpers.
